Happy fall Tuesday, everyone. Today I have for you what I have been wearing lately for warm weather fall outfits.
Warm weather fall outfits are my reality right now with temperatures still in the nineties. I so hope it changes soon.
While I have changed my colors up for the season, I do enjoy wearing them in lighter pieces such as ponchos.
Soon it will be jeans and blazers often, but for now, I need the lightweight fabrics to stay cool when out and about.
Let’s look at this today…plus at a special event I attended last week.
WARM WEATHER FALL OUTFITS: PONCHO 1
When I saw this animal print poncho at Chico’s, I was smitten and knew it would get much wear before the cool weather hits.
This is the CREPE ANIMAL PRINT PULLOVER PONCHO…and it comes in one size.
I actually like the one size option in ponchos over the other times they make different sizes. The one size always seems to fit me better.
So, far I have worn this with my EILEEN FISHER WASHABLE SLIM ANKLE CREPE PANTS.

I am so glad that I kept these pants in several colors after I left my professional world. I still wear them often and they do wash so well.
I also own a pair of rust colored pants that I will wear this poncho with soon.
WARM WEATHER FALL OUTFITS: WHAT I WORE
Last week, I stopped by a special event and selected my warm weather fall outfits, a washable silk poncho I originally found at a San Antonio Boutique.
I love to wear this poncho…it is so pretty and the silk feels amazing. I also wore it with my Eileen Fisher pants.
And I am so glad that I dressed my confident best, because at the event, I met another regular blog follower.
Meet Marlene…isn’t she cute! She has been reading here since before I moved and she loves fashion.
It was a delight to meet and speak with her.
WARM WEATHER FALL OUTFITS: THE EVENT
You guessed it…another event at Addie’s Boutique, here in Abilene.
She officially kicked off fall with a boutique full of beautiful clothing, treats, and a special trunk show.
I brought my special pumpkin bread and it appeared to be a hit.
It is always a party at Addie’s during these events.
Everyone is trying on clothing and discussing the clothes with each other…and the customers mingle as if we have been long time friends.
I also love to see what everyone purchases and how they made those decisions.
Shopping with women has always fascinated me.
WARM WEATHER FALL OUTFITS: THE TRUNK SHOW
Meet joyful Angie, the local representative for HOBO.
She showed up for her HOBO trunk show with so much beauty.
I wish I could have taken one of these beauties home with me…the fall arrivals are stunning and the leather quality exceptionasl.

Yes, it was warm outside, but we still had fun celebrating fall with Addie and her community.

For now my warm weather fall outfits will continue, but I so hope it is short lived…I am ready for the fun…
