Happy Friday, all! Since you asked, today I will share a couple of fall outfits I wore this week.
We watched our week progress from one hundred degrees last Monday to now with highs in the 80s…and the mornings are glorious…so I could pull out a few fall outfits when I went out and about.
Both of these fall outfits are fashioned from what is in my closet so there are no links…except to these brown loafers.
But, I thought it might help you for me to take you through the process of how I put these fall outfits together this week.
I do want to note that both outfits feature two more colors in my EILEEN FISHER WASHABLE SLIM ANKLE CREPE PANTS.
These are perfect right now for fall and I do love the comfort, fit, and easy care.
So, let’s enjoy thinking all things fall…and look over my two fall outfits for special outings.
FALL OUTFITS I WORE THIS WEEK: GRANDPARENTS DAY!
I always dress so that my grandchildren will be proud of me and though some choose to go very casual, I try to elevate that a bit.
The fall breeze made it possible to dress with fall and my style adjectives in mind….a reminder, I want my outfits to say that I am polished, creative, approachable, current, and joyful.
These Eileen Fisher crepe pants are a deep autumn green.
In addition to owning different colors in these pants, I also own three options in the Chico’s Ruched Sleeve Blazers…this color was released a couple of years ago.
I like these blazers…and there are still a few of the dried roses color that I liked so much for my spring palette, on sale. Just click that link above.
I paired this with an very old Chico’s V-neck tee in brown, a Patricia Nash Scarf, an older Chico’s necklace, and new SAN ANTONIO SHOES SIMPLIFY EVERYDAY LOAFER in antique wine (which I really believe looks more brown than burgundy.)
This was a confident outfit for me…and I even dabbed my eyes once with the scarf…two songs brought me to tears.
FALL OUTFITS I WORE THIS WEEK: TWO LUNCH DATES
My next selection in fall outfits was on a warmer day, and it was a lunch date.
I am thrilled to have dove gray in my spring palette, and plan to wear the color often.
These Eileen Fisher Crepe Pants are navy blue.
The topper is very old…I seem to remember that it originally came from Stein Mart…and I do miss Stein Mart!
A J.Jill clearance sale over the summer brought to me this gray V neck sweater top. This is how it looks without the topper and does appear to be completely sold out.
I am so glad I purchased it and I did get a very good price at the time.
I am also wearing my Sandstone version of the SAS loafer, and my WORLD FINDS NECKLACES, for a some color.
However, for Bible Study and another lunch afterwards, I did change up the necklace for something a bit more understated.
This beautiful green and gold necklace is from Addie’s Boutique and designed by a Texas jewelry designer.
This topper is very much me and that is why I have kept and worn it for years.
Thank you for joining me today to see the Fall Outfits I Wore this Week.
This weekend is going to be a wild ride watching my grandsons, but I will be here tomorrow with another trend and I think many of you are going to like this one…hope to see you then….
KEEP SMILING!
