Yes! It is Friday! And today, I want to show you a fall outfit in new blue shoes.

Dillard’s is very clever…they have the shoe department here located on the way to the area where the restrooms are.
And I am one woman who (unfortunately) has to visit the restrooms just about every where I go!
Because of that, I always get a good look at the shoes…and in July, this pair said to STOP!
That is my birthday month, so …VOLIA…I found a birthday present!
Allow me to share with you some information about a fall outfit that I thoroughly enjoy right now.
A FALL OUTFIT IN NEW BLUE SHOES: THE SHOES
These loafers where exactly the style I was seeking in a loafer and I needed this color.
I do want to be clear that these are not long-distance walking shoes. They are very comfortable, but I would not reach for them if I was going to be doing a lot of walking that day.
These are beautiful loafers that I will wear out and about around town…this week they went to Bible Study.
This is the COACH SCULPTED C LEATHER DRIVER LOAFERS in the midnight navy.
As the weather becomes more fall-like, I do have many plans for these loafers.
Jeans and a blazer are waiting in the wings to be a fall outfit I will love.
I also will like the look of these loafers with socks.
I did get these as a birthday present, but compared to other leather loafers the price is in line and they had the look I was going for.
A FALL OUTFIT IN NEW BLUE SHOES: THE CARDIGAN
Down here in warm Texas, a fall outfit for me often includes summer cardigans I purchased on clearance at Talbots.
This navy sweater jacket is linen, and I originally bought it years ago in a Talbots Red Door Sale.
Off season clearance sales are a great way to get early fall pieces for a fall outfit that are not too heavy and are comfortable.
I have particularly enjoyed this navy one.
Here are a few sweaters on sale at Talbots that you may want to know about if you live in the warmer areas:
This is a lightweight duster in the Haven collection.
It is the BRUSHED RIB KNIT LONG SLEEVE DUSTER.
The color is called Driftwood.
This sweater appears to be heavier, but I loved the color so much I wanted to include for you.
It is the ORGANIC COTTON FLAT TAPE V-NECK SWEATER in a color called garnet.
The Coolmax collection also provides those of us in warmer climates with ways to style a fall outfit now.
This is the COOL MAX FULL ZIP SWEATER JACKET in a color called mulberry wine.
It is made from cotton Coolmax yarns designed to keep us cool.
Here is another Coolmax sweater on sale for those who wear black & white in a fall outfit.
I really like the touch of mulberry wine on the zipper and cuffs.

Stripes are always on trend for a fall outfit, and what better way to wear it than when it is on sale.
This is that toasted coconut color I like in a stripe.
It is the TALBOTS KATE CARDIGAN METALLIC.
I believe if you styled this lovely lightweight cardigan just right that it could top off a fall outfit.
Over dark brown denim with a green top underneath, I can see a fall outfit in my mind.
This is the V-NECK CARDIGAN PLACED PALMS.
A NOTE ABOUT MY PANTS:
This is one of my Eileen Fisher Washable Crepe Pants, and in retrospect I did purchase this green pair at Nordstrom.
But in order to get the color, and even more colors, you will need to go to the Eileen Fisher website.
Here is the link: WASHABLE STRETCH CREPE SLIM PANT...and my pant color is called Woodland. You will see that they have 8 colors.
I love all the colors I own in these pants, and lately I am going for them the most to style a fall outfit.
They have served me well and washed well for years.
