Happy Thursday! I stopped by JC Penney and came away with New Liz Claiborne Picks for Fall Outfits.
Eventually, sweater-weather will come to all of us, so for my new Liz Claiborne picks for fall outfits, I am beginning with sweaters.
When I stopped by, a big sale was in progress, and I predict that another big sale will be happening soon.
JC Penney is one of those retailers where you can always find a sale in progress or a coupon to assist….making purchases there quite affordable.
Lately, the way a fabric feels is so important to me, and these sweaters are very soft and comfy overall.
I was shopping more for you than for me, so the colors are not all in the spring palette.
But, I will share with you my honest observations about these picks for fall outfits….and even why I left out a couple of them.
NEW LIZ CLAIBORNE PICKS FOR FALL OUTFITS: SWEATERS
This was my favorite for fall outfits…and I could see it with my caramel-colored denim, and my gold sneakers.
It is the LIZ CLAIBORNE WOMEN’S CREW NECK LONG SLEEVE PULLOVER in red houndstooth.
As I said, it is very soft and comfy…and I liked the fit and style.
I also liked this one to go with jeans or navy pants in fall outfits.
I also believe this sweater could easily be elevated for a nice event.
It is the LIZ CLAIBORNE WOMENS SPLIT CREW NECK LONG SLEEVE FLORAL PULLOVER SWEATER in navy and it also comes in a pretty gray + pink option.
The sleeves are long, and I cuffed them back…but I liked the cuffed sleeve look.
I am certain for many of us, our fall outfits include cardigans of all types.
This one has nice details, and I like this length…it is not too long.
The biggest advantage is that it comes in 10 colors!
This is the LIZ CLAIBORNE WOMENS LONG SLEEVE OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN in the color called caramel heather.
I do like this long plaid cardigan for fun fall outfits, but prefer it styled like JCP has it on their website.
They picture it with the sleeves pulled up closer to the elbow and wearing it with jeans. This picture is with the black plaid one.
It doesn’t look good on me here but is a super cute garments.
This is the LIZ CLAIBORNE LONG SLEEVE OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN in Medieval Green Plaid.
I also tried on this LIZ CLAIBORNE WOMENS LONG SLEEVE PULLOVER SWEATER in Crema shine…it is a cute sweater…just not on me. The fit was not flattering on my figure.

NEW LIZ CLAIBORNE PICKS FOR FALL OUTFITS: NOT LIZ CLAIBORNE
As I was leaving the store, I passed by this display, and the gray blouse immediately caught my attention.
Even with a mostly casual wardrobe, this would be a beautiful blouse to own for nicer casual occasions in fall outfits.
I believe there is so much that could be done with a cute top like this. The design adds that creative element that I am drawn to.
It took me a little bit of time to find the blouse, so I did not try it on.
But this is the WORTHINGTON WOMENS LONG SLEEVE SATIN BLOUSE in gray.
Yes, there is much new product in the stores and you may want to stop by.
But, these were my top new Liz Claiborne picks for fall outfits…and you can find them in a variety of sizes since they are new.
