Happy Monday, all. Welcome to my Monday Notes for Women over 60.
Today’s Monday notes for women over 60 is a little different that what I originally planned.
I am going to share this story, so that all women over 60 can be careful NOT to do as I did this past weekend.
We took a quick day and a half road trip with the intention of returning to Abilene early on Sunday…then I could work on this blog, and Mr. B could work on a project he does every Monday.
It was a good plan and we also wanted to stop at one of our favorite places and do some eating and shopping. (More about that later!)
It was a great plan…until I lost the car keys. Really lost the car keys.
We began what would become a two hour search…I even paid some teens on scooters to help me search a park area where I was walking Tux.
They were great and I watched them do a complete job over the large park…but ended up to avail…and I paid them enough to cover sodas and treats for their efforts…but offered more if the keys were located.
Mr. B re-walked and re-visited every place we had gone.
Near late afternoon, I called the local police to tell them we might be leaving a car there until we could figure out what to do…our son-in-law was driving behind us and could take us the rest of the way home if needed.
But, prayers were answered when I called the police…they had the keys!!
What happened? Well, I dropped them in the restroom when I made a stop. I decided I wanted to use my scented hand sanitizer and must have dropped the keys while digging in my handbag.
So, far every guy Mr. B has told the story to has said…Why did she have the keys out in the restroom? I have gone on record asking him to leave the location out!
Believe me…I have promised Mr. B that I will never do this again…we arrived home after dark and tired.
So this will be a shorter version of Monday Notes for Women over 60…but I can promise you a fun week ahead!
MONDAY NOTES FOR WOMEN OVER 60: UNIVERSAL STANDARD
A cold front blew in while we were out and about, but I was prepared with this Henning Soft Park Trench by Universal Standard.

I have been a busy little elf lately and have so much to share with you…
Even why a miniature Brahma Bull and Burrow were part of my life….they are great at keeping the grass trimmed.
I promise to have it all for you…and there is much more fun ahead.
Also, I am so sorry that the trip and key fiasco kept me from commenting very often this past weekend, but I read your comments and will get back to you.
