It is Fall, Y’all! My favorite time of year, so today I want to begin to show you how I love my new fall outfits.
I did make several purchases, but will only share the new fall outfits that I love …and cannot wait to wear.
Yes, it is still warm here…in fact, today may reach 100…so I will not wear these pieces for fall outfits soon, but am so glad they are waiting in the wings.
Yesterday, my house smelled of homemade chicken soup, homemade pumpkin bread and cinnamon pine cones.
So, as long as I did not go outside…it was fall inside to me.
Now, I am going to share with you three purchases I made and know I will wear often for my new fall outfits.
LOVE MY NEW FALL OUTFITS: TODAY’S FEATURE
Allow me to remind you that my challenges right now are from gaining weight after the move.
The additional pounds have been in the middle. While I am hopefully making decisions that will lead to weight loss, I have not desired to purchase items that would be larger sizes.
So, my purchases have been those I can wear with the body I currently have and still wear when I hopefully get back to where I was before we moved and I had foot surgery.
It is possible to navigate that line, especially with knits and pull-on pants.
I love all three of the components of this new fall outfit and can mix & match them with many things in my wardrobe.
I have always enjoyed wearing animal prints and this sweater jacket from J.Jill is amazing…I do plan to wear it with a denim shirt as they have styled on their website.
This is the J.JILL DOUBLE-KNIT SWEATER JACKET in a classic leopard. I love the fit and feel of the knit. First cold front, will see me wearing this!
For years, I have enjoyed wearing Chico’s Jeggings for the fit…I like a slim leg pant. However, I do agree with some others that this garment was mis-labeled.
I will wear these often this fall…love the cocoa bean color…but I believe you can see in my picture that they are more of a flare jean than a bootcut.
These are the CHICO’S PULL ON SLIM BOOTCUT JEGGINGS in cocoa bean, and if you like a flare pant, there are great and marked down right now.
I would love to have jeggings that are a true slim bootcut, but I do not trust them now…so sad. I will be wearing these though…still like them.
These shoes, however, are practically perfect in every way…I love them…and, of course, they are Easy Spirit.
These are a lovely, almost brown, dark red and will go with so many of my new fall outfits.

LOVE MY NEW FALL OUTFITS: FALL READY
I do love this time of year so very much and besides my new fall outfits, I am enjoying my fall decorations. They are simple this year, but somehow, just perfect.
I am wondering why this season is the only season with two names…autumn and fall. I tend to like autumn better, but the media world likes fall better.
What about you?
I stopped by a bookstore over the weekend and selected two fall magazines to take home….my favorite time to purchase a magazine is now through December.
I stood there for maybe 30 minutes looking through lots of magazines…I wanted good content and not just one that was mostly ads.
So, these were the winners and I will let you know my final review after I read them. I selected COUNTRY LIVING COLLECTION (a special edition); and IN HER GARDEN.
But, let me tell you…I know why so many read online…the costs of magazines has skyrocketed and is a little insane. I still wanted a couple for my home and to read.
