Recently, I was asked what I wear the most during cooler weather…and for me, the answer was easy…my fall wardrobe workhorse is a v-neck Tee.
The v-neck tee is a way for me to wear different colors under a third piece and maintain an elevated casual style.
Though I do wear different styles of necklines, I have always preferred a v-neck.
I believe it opens my face, and elongates my outfits in a more flattering way. The v-neck provides a perfect way for me to accessorize with scarves or necklaces.
And I can wear it with confidence without tucking in.
A good quality v-neck tee that washes well is gold to me and makes for a fall wardrobe workhorse….and, as you will see, can be found at different price points.
I have several brands, but would like to share my favorites with you today…

During a recent flash sale at Talbots, I picked up three v-neck tees in spring palette colors.
I am wearing the PIMA V-NECK TEE in the red currant in the first picture…it is a terra cotta shade of red. I also purchased it in the moonlight blue color. There are still nine colors available in this tee.
I like the Talbots pima cotton v-neck tee because it fits well and washes well…and is super comfy.
And this is a color I wanted really bad last year, but it sold out before I got it.
This is the PIMA V-NECK TEE in toasted coconut heather…love this soft brown…perfect for a spring.
I know this is not a v-neck tee, but I just had to toss it in. I found the vest while I was looking for the red tee, and it is so cute.
This is the CABLE KNIT SWEATER VEST in Acorn Brown.
The Talbots sale is one worth looking over…and consider adding a v-neck tee or two.

And this shirt is on sale for $10.80 with the savings code. I like these and wear them often in cooler weather…they do have a more generous fit than the Talbots tee (which I like for the fit).
This v-neck tee comes in PLUS and TALL.
This is a special line of the v-neck tee that JC Penney offers called Adaptive, designed with and for people with disabilities. It is an easy on-easy off garment.
This is the ST.JOHN’S BAY EASY ON EASY OFF V-NECK ADAPTIVE TEE.
It is available in seven colors, and on sale with the code for $12. I think it is so great that they do this.

Like I keep saying, I am impressed with Old Navy…the quality lately has been exceptional.
I had lunch yesterday with a woman in our age groups that wears Old Navy and always looks great!
Now this v-neck tee is only $14 and comes in nine colors.

I do own v-neck tees from a couple of other retailers, but the Talbots Tees, and JCP are currently my favorites as a fall wardrobe workhorse.
I will be seen in them often once it is a tad bit cooler around here.
