Happy Final Friday in August, y’all! Today, I am sharing about shopping for the best browns for my fall outfits.
I do not remember a recent time when I could actually shop for best browns for my fall outfits…but, browns are in abundance this year in many different shades.
And for a lover of browns like I am, that is super exciting.
For a moment, I thought my fall outfits as a spring palette would be very challenging…yet, it has turned out to be more fun that I originally thought.
One of the reasons for that is the color brown and all of it’s variations.
So, allow me to share with you today about my best shades of brown…and about the top I am wearing in the feature photo.
As a spring, I aspire to be clear, bright, light and warm.
BEST BROWNS FOR MY FALL OUTFITS – THIS TUNIC TOP
I first wrote about this top at Dillard’s in 2021, and wrote this post BRYN WALKER FALL 2021 AT DILLARD’S.
The minute I tried it, I wanted to wear it home…it is soft and luxurious. I ended up owning the chocolate brown, and the deep green.
I am actually wearing an XL here, and it was the first time I could size down to Misses out of Plus.
Every fall and winter since then, I have worn these at home, to watch football games, entertain family, and for errands to be warm and cozy…and I have always enjoyed this flowy-easy-style of tunic.
In the first post, I said I could wear it out to dinner, but have only worn them to casual style places.
When at Dillard’s last week, I passed by the Bryn Walker department and saw this shade of brown, so I sized down to a large and tried it on.
Love it!
This is the BRYN WALKER Dimitri French Terry Boat Neck Long Dolman Sleeve Tunic.
Here was a shade of brown for my fall outfits that I really liked and I also liked going down a size.
Dillard’s sells this in a PLUS SIZE, and a similar tunic in a PRINT, and matching leggings in the same color.
Now, let’s look to see if it is one of my best browns.
BEST BROWNS FOR MY FALL OUTFITS: SPRING PALETTE FALL OUTFITS
My very best brown in my spring palette fan is Chocolate Brown…it get three stars.
Chocolate brown has been in my warm palettes and I do have a few pieces of this color.
My focus has been on these browns to lighten things up a bit.
You can see here that the tunic is TAN. One of the reasons that it immediately captured my eye.
I have a little in the fall outfits in cinnamon and honey…all look great with the terra cotta red and with off whites.
Bryn Walker has named the color pinecones…..
Out of all of the pinecones in my fall decorations, there is not one near the color of the tunic.
So many times, names of colors can be misleading.
I already know that based on the other two, this tunic will be worn often this year…it is a cozy one.
And, since 2021, I know that they wash very well.
