Happy October Saturday, everyone! Time for the weekly feature…2025 Fashion Trends: Suede and Faux Suede.
Each week I highlight one of the 2025 fashion trends, and this week it is suede or faux suede, specifically in jackets.
Suede jackets are everywhere in all kinds of designs, lengths and options…I particularly like the reversible ones.
There are also many offerings in different colors of suede jackets.
As you might expect, some of the suede jackets are really pricey…with the faux suede more affordable.
And you also may have one in your closet to pull out and wear more this year!
So, let’s look at what I found for you, starting at one of the favorite retailers for the readers of this blog.
2025 FASHION TRENDS: SUEDE OR FAUX SUEDE JACKETS: J.JILL
Because these jackets are in the 2025 fashion trends, J.Jill is showing us several lovely options.
The feature picture today is the J.JILL FAUX-SUEDE & SHERPA JACKET in warm tan and dark oatmeal.
There are very positive comments on this jacket.
Here is another way to elevate your casual style.

I also found several suede or faux suede jackets at Macy’s for your consideration….with different designs.
Here is another that would elevate your denim!

Here you have a VERY AFFORDABLE faux-suede jacket that is selling fast because it is marked down so much.
This is the STYLE & CO WOMEN’S FAUX-SUEDE BUTTON FRONT JACKET…and it comes in two colors.
Here is a petite trench coat that looks like a nice jacket to be current with the 2025 fashion trends.
It is the TAHARI ASL PETITE SUEDE LONG SLEEVE TRENCH COAT in an espresso color…and it is ON SALE!
This faux-suede could be styled so many different ways.
It is the FRENCH CONNECTION WOMEN’S FAUX-SUEDE LONG SLEEVE JACKET in a tan color.
Here is a nice blazer option from Macy’s.
This is the TOMMY HILFIGER WOMEN’S SCUBA SUEDE COLLARED BLAZER in cognac brown.
Here is my personal favorite at Macy’s…I love this color and double breasted design.
This is the TOMMY HILFIGER WOMEN’S SCUBA SUEDE LONG SLEEVE JACKET…and all four colors look lovely!
2025 FASHION TRENDS: SUEDE OR FAUX SUEDE JACKETS: STANDOUTS
Like I said, these jackets in the 2025 Fashion Trends are everywhere, so I pulled out a few that you might like.
This reversible jacket looks like a good one.
Banana Republic Factory offers us a vegan suede option.
This is the REVERSIBLE VEGAN SUEDE SHERPA JACKET.…and both colors look nice.
This jacket from QUINCE is 100% goat suede.
It is the 100% SUEDE BIKER JACKET and comes in four colors.
Here is a QVC faux suede jacket.
This is the ME BY JENNIE GARTH FAUX SUEDE JACKET WITH UTILITY DETAILS.
It comes in two colors.
JMcLaughlin’s suede jacket is one of the more expensive ones, but definitely a standout.
This is the OLIVE SOLID KAVYA SUEDE JACKET.
And, of course, JC Penney has a more affordable faux-suede jacket.
This is the a.n.a WOMENS LIGHTWEIGHT JACKET.
There are good comments, but it does run large.
Chico’s also has a moto jacket for consideration.
This is the SUEDE MOTO JACKET in their color called Dried Mushroom.
And if you are looking for a cropped suede jacket, check out their SUEDE CROPPED JACKET in two colors.
I saved this one for last…it is the most expensive suede jacket (coat really) that I saw in my search.
And I was surprised to find it at Talbots.
This is the SUEDE A-LINE COAT.
This one is not close to that price, and it is almost sold out.
This is the TALBOTS FAUX SUEDE MOTO JACKET.
